Remotion Agent Skills
remotion-dev/skillsThe Remotion team's twelve skills for building videos as React code: project setup, markup rules, maps, captions, studio, render and upgrades.
Guides marketing video production with Remotion or Hyperframes, AI generation models and avatar tools, plus product-demo and edit-copying references.
A solid overview with practical workflows, but model names and prices change quickly and most paths need paid third-party tools.
The video skill helps the agent plan and produce marketing videos. It begins by asking for the goal, platform, length, whether you need a human presenter, existing footage and technical stack, then offers an approach table: programmatic video (Remotion in React, Hyperframes in HTML with a paused GSAP timeline), AI generation (Veo 3, Runway, Kling, Seedance and others), AI avatars (HeyGen, Synthesia), and editing and repurposing tools. It gives short setup commands for Hyperframes and Remotion and explains when to pick each one.
Further sections cover prompting video models, a rule of thumb for AI generation versus stock footage, avatar use cases, repurposing long content into clips, an agent-native pipeline, and workflows for product demos, explainers, batch social clips and per-account personalized videos. Three reference files add detail on AI video prompting, edit anatomy (reverse-engineering a reference video's cuts) and recording product demos. It does not ship scripts; it tells the agent to check each project's docs for licensing and current features. An evals.json file lists test prompts. Most tools it names are paid or need their own API keys.
A 17 KB SKILL.md with three reference files and an evals.json, but no scripts or templates.
A Markdown skill for producing marketing video with programmatic frameworks and AI tools. It has no scripts of its own, but instructs the agent to run unpinned npx tools and install Playwright and ffmpeg. API-key guidance tells the agent not to accept keys pasted in chat and to use environment variables.
npx hyperframes init/preview/render and npx create-video@latest with no version pin.skills/video/SKILL.md:59npx playwright install chromium --with-deps) and ffmpeg via brew/apt.skills/video/references/product-demo-recording.md:51The skill folder (5 files) on Oct 29, 2026. Not a full review: it relies on code outside the repository: npm packages hyperframes, create-video and playwright; ffmpeg; third-party video/TTS APIs referenced in the Markdown.
NVIDIA SkillSpector static scan: 6 pattern hits (MCP Rug Pull 5, Excessive Agency 1). The six SkillSpector hits are unpinned npx mentions (hyperframes, create-video, playwright) and the phrase 'Never ask the user' for API keys, which is a rule to keep keys in environment variables rather than chat.
A review, not a certification. Skills change after we check them — read the files before installing.

Not really. It outlines workflows and tool choices; rendering and generation depend on external services and review by the user.
The Remotion team's twelve skills for building videos as React code: project setup, markup rules, maps, captions, studio, render and upgrades.
HeyGen's framework and skills for writing HTML and rendering it to deterministic MP4 video, with a CLI, a block registry and media tooling.
Remotion-based skill for cinematic product promo videos, with 124 shot recipe cards, a full template, beat sync, sound design and a motion workbench.
Skill that reads your project and renders a short launch video with music, motion and share copy, using Hyperframes.
It guides marketing video creation with code (Remotion, Hyperframes), AI generation models, avatar tools and editing tools, and provides workflows for product demos, explainers, social clips and personalized videos.
Run npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill video, or install the whole marketing-skills plugin for Claude Code or Codex. You will also need the video tools it recommends, such as Remotion or Hyperframes.
For AI generation and avatar paths, yes: services like HeyGen, Synthesia, Runway or Veo charge per use or per plan. Remotion and Hyperframes are code frameworks, with their own licensing terms you should check.
This skill compares several approaches at a strategy level. remotion-dev/skills is the Remotion project's own skills repo, so it is limited to that framework.
