Claude SEO
AgriciDaniel/claude-seoA free Claude Code plugin with 26 SEO sub-skills and 19 agents for audits, schema, AI-search readiness and optional live-data extensions.
A Claude Code skill with 14 /youtube commands for channel audits, video SEO, scripts, hooks, thumbnail briefs, Shorts, analytics and monetization.
Deep and well organized for YouTube work, but it is still in beta, and the live-data features need Google API and OAuth setup plus an optional paid DataForSEO account.
claude-youtube adds one orchestrator skill to Claude Code. The skill routes /youtube commands, or trigger phrases like "audit my channel", to 14 sub-skill files. Commands cover a channel audit that runs parallel agents across SEO, performance, content and monetization; an SEO package with three title variants, description, tags, chapters and VideoObject schema; retention-focused scripts with pattern interrupts every 60 to 90 seconds; five hook variants; thumbnail briefs with A/B variants and hex codes; strategy, content calendars, Shorts packages, analytics interpretation, repurposing, monetization plans, competitor analysis, upload metadata and ranked video ideas.
The sub-skills draw on nine reference guides in references/ (algorithm mechanics, CTR and retention benchmarks, RPM/CPM by niche, YPP tiers) and nine channel-type templates in templates/. The execution/ folder holds six Python scripts. They fetch channel stats and competitor videos through the YouTube Data API, pull private analytics over OAuth, extract transcripts with yt-dlp, and track the 10,000-unit daily quota. If you configure the optional DataForSEO MCP, the skill uses live keyword and SERP data. Without it, the skill falls back to WebSearch. The README labels the project beta and warns that breaking changes may come before v1.0.
One 12 KB orchestrator SKILL.md with 14 sub-skill files, 9 reference guides, 9 templates and 6 Python API scripts, but no tests, evals or CI.
Counted from the repository file tree. How we score depth.
The skill uses your YouTube API key and, for your own channel's analytics, a read-only Google OAuth token, sending them only to Google's YouTube APIs. It stores tokens and cached results under ~/.claude/.tmp and can run yt-dlp to fetch video subtitles. The SKILL.md tool list includes Bash, and the installer suggests piping a script from the author's GitHub repo into bash to uninstall.
The repository (57 files) on Oct 29, 2026. Not a full review: it relies on code outside the repository: yt-dlp CLI (used for transcript extraction if installed); pip packages google-api-python-client and google-auth-oauthlib (installed by the user per the scripts' instructions); DataForSEO MCP server (optional, configured separately).
NVIDIA SkillSpector static scan: 13 pattern hits (Privilege Escalation 4, Agent Snooping 2, Anti-Refusal 2, Dangerous Code Execution 2, Supply Chain 1, Tool Misuse 1). The settings.json hit is README text about configuring the optional DataForSEO MCP server. The credential hits are the skill reading its own YouTube API key and OAuth files under ~/.claude. The anti-refusal hits are thumbnail design advice. The rm -rf hit removes only the skill's own install folder. The subprocess calls run yt-dlp with fixed list arguments. The curl|bash hit is a printed uninstall instruction.
A review, not a certification. Skills change after we check them — read the files before installing.

Not really. Each command is a one-shot consulting task that relies on your channel context and input, with no loop, stop condition or resumable state for long unattended runs.

It is an open-source Claude Code skill by AgriciDaniel that acts as a YouTube growth consultant. It provides 14 /youtube commands, including audit, seo, script, hook, thumbnail, shorts, analyze and monetize, backed by reference guides, channel templates and Python scripts for the YouTube API.
No. The README lists the YouTube API key as optional; it enables automated channel data fetching. Private analytics for your own channel need OAuth 2.0 credentials. Without DataForSEO configured, keyword and trend research falls back to WebSearch.
The repository ships install.sh and uninstall.sh scripts that write to user-level directories under ~/.claude, and it also includes a plugin manifest. After installing, start Claude Code and run a command such as /youtube audit.
We found no hidden network calls, obfuscated code or telemetry. The scripts read only the skill's own YouTube credentials from ~/.claude and call the YouTube API and yt-dlp. If you use the curl | bash uninstall command, read the script before running it.
