Paperasse Claude skills

Six French-language skills for accounting, tax, notary, audit and co-ownership paperwork, with reference data and test cases.

Our verdict Recommended with caveats

Impressively deep for domain skills with evals, but rules change and outputs need professional verification before use.

What Paperasse does

Paperasse packages French administrative expertise as skills for an agent. The set has six skills: comptable (accounting under the PCG, VAT, corporate tax, year-end close, FEC and tax returns, plus e-invoicing rules), fiscaliste (personal tax such as IR, IFI, PFU, PEA, life insurance, furnished rentals, RSU, BSPCE, crypto and PER), controleur-fiscal (tax audit), commissaire-aux-comptes (statutory audit following the NEP in seven phases), notaire (property, succession, gift law) and syndic (co-ownership meetings, charges and unpaid fees).

Each skill is a long SKILL.md of 10 to 18 KB with its own references, citing texts such as the CGI, BOFiP and the 1965 co-ownership law. The comptable skill alone has 21 reference files, and the repo has about 26 evaluation files with sample company data, FEC files and mock bank and Stripe transactions. A guided setup asks for your company name, VAT regime and bank accounts. The README says connectors can pull transactions from Qonto and Stripe, but the connector code was not in the snapshot we reviewed. Outputs are drafts for professionals to verify; legal and tax rules change, and the skills' last-updated dates are in their metadata.

Good for

  • French freelancers and small companies preparing bookkeeping and VAT
  • Accountants wanting a structured first pass on a FEC or tax return
  • Individuals modeling French personal tax

Not for

  • Binding tax, legal or audit opinions without a professional
  • Non-French jurisdictions

What's inside depth 5/5

Dependencies and costs

  • Optional Qonto and Stripe accounts for transaction connectors
  • Your own company data for the setup

Security review

Review before installing

French bureaucracy skills (accounting, tax, audit, notary, building management) with local scripts for FEC, PDFs and Factur-X plus optional Qonto and Stripe connectors that use your own API keys against those services only. The Qonto attachment uploader defaults to a dry run and requires --upload to write to your bank account. Some skills send addresses, SIREN numbers or names to public French government APIs, so check what you hand the agent.

Worth knowing

  • Needs an API key for its own serviceQONTO_ID/QONTO_API_SECRET and Stripe secret keys (STRIPE_SECRET*, read from .env) are used only against thirdparty.qonto.com and the Stripe API to pull transactions and invoices into local JSON.integrations/qonto/fetch.js:22
  • Makes network requestsLook-ups against French public APIs (BAN, DVF/Cerema, apicarto cadastre/GPU, Georisques, recherche-entreprises, matchID deaths search) and the DGFIP tax simulator; addresses, SIREN numbers or names you give the agent are sent in these queries.scripts/fetch_notaire_data.py:43
  • Installs packages or toolsnpm install pulls caret-ranged marked, pdf-lib, puppeteer (downloads Chromium) and stripe; upload-qonto-attachments.js launches puppeteer with --no-sandbox.package.json:20
  • Relies on a CLI or package we could not reviewThe eval harness shells out to the claude CLI (claude --bare -p ...); this is developer tooling, not part of the skills.evals/run_evals.py:471

What we checked

The repository (210 files) on Oct 29, 2026. Not a full review: we read 13 of 27 code files; it relies on code outside the repository: npm packages marked, pdf-lib, puppeteer and stripe; the Python eval dependencies; scripts/calc.js, generate-facturx.js, generate-fec.js, generate-pdfs.js, generate-statements.js, validate-facture.js, fiscaliste/scripts/calc_ir.py and the test files were checked only with pattern searches (no network, exec or env use found), not read line by line.

NVIDIA SkillSpector static scan: 27 pattern hits (Data Exfiltration 8, Privilege Escalation 7, Supply Chain 6, Dangerous Code Execution 3, Tool Misuse 1, Rogue Agent 1). The curl|bash line is in the repo's own CI workflow (evals-smoke.yml) installing the Claude CLI, not in the skills. '.env' credential hits are setup docs and eval prompts; subprocess hits are the eval harness calling git, lsof and the claude CLI; star-history, data.economie.gouv.fr and insee URLs are documentation or source lists.

A review, not a certification. Skills change after we check them — read the files before installing.

Can it run unattended?

Not really. Workflows are interactive review sessions over your accounts with human sign-off, not unattended jobs.

FAQ

What is Paperasse?

It is a collection of six French-language agent skills for accounting, personal tax, tax audit, statutory audit, notary work and co-ownership management.

How do I install Paperasse?

Paste the README's instruction into your agent to install from agentskill.sh or from the GitHub repo, then run the guided setup, which asks for your company name, VAT regime and bank accounts.

Can I rely on Paperasse for my taxes?

Treat it as an assistant that drafts and checks, not as advice. French rules change and the skills cite specific texts and dates, so have a professional validate anything binding.
