Claude for Legal
anthropics/claude-for-legalAnthropic's suite of legal-workflow plugins: 151 skills across in-house practice areas, each driven by a cold-start interview and a practice profile.
An experimental German-language collection of legal plugins, skills and prompts for German law, with test case files; the repo reports about 19,000 skill files.
Broad and openly licensed for German law, but the author calls it an experiment, the skills are short and heavily overlapping, and the volume makes quality uneven.
This repository is a very large collection of plugins, skills, stand-alone markdown prompts and practice case files for German legal work. The README (in German, with an English quick guide) describes plugins by practice area, such as contract and standard-terms law (AGB, sections 305 ff. BGB), corporate and M&A, bank legal departments, tax, freedom-of-information requests, venture capital investors, law-firm management and a plugin for checking contracts with legal-AI vendors against professional secrecy rules (section 203 StGB, section 43e BRAO). You can install one plugin, use a single prompt as a markdown file, or import the marketplace file into ChatGPT or Cowork.
The skill folders we sampled are short, about 2 to 6 KB each, with no references or scripts, and many have narrow, overlapping topics (for example several variants on AGB assignment clauses and adversarial tests). The dossier counts 18,988 skills and over 30,000 files, so installing everything is neither necessary nor sensible; the README itself says one plugin or prompt is enough to start. A quality section separates structural checks from model tests that were actually run, and the repo holds about 310 evaluation files. Separate test case files with PDFs let you practice without client material.
The author labels it an experiment and not legal advice, says results may be wrong or out of date, and flags confidentiality and data-transfer issues for lawyers.
About 19,000 skill folders averaging 5 KB of instructions with no scripts or references in the sampled folders; hundreds of eval files exist, but breadth does not add depth.
Counted from the repository file tree. How we score depth.
A very large collection of German-law skills and prompts, almost entirely Markdown instructions for contract, labour, data-protection and procedural work. The files we have contain no scripts, allowed-tools pre-approvals, network calls or credential handling. The repository is far larger than what we could review (thousands of plugin folders, scripts and ZIP archives were not available), so this is a partial review of the Markdown only.
The repository (30603 files) on Oct 29, 2026. Not a full review: the repository is too large for a complete file list; 30435 of 30603 files were not downloaded (large repository; we reviewed the skill folders); it contains compiled binaries or archives we cannot read; it relies on code outside the repository: 30435 of 30603 repository files were not available to us, including about 944 code files (release and validation scripts such as scripts/validate-plugin-structure.mjs and sync-references.py, GitHub workflows) and 1135 binary/archive files.
NVIDIA SkillSpector static scan: 0 pattern hits. SkillSpector reported no hits on the 168 files we had; the 'credentials' and 'telemetry' grep lines are German legal text about cookie consent (Planet49) and a package description. The only fenced shell commands in the README are repo maintenance scripts (node validators, python sync script, git clone and claude plugin marketplace add .).
A review, not a certification. Skills change after we check them — read the files before installing.
Dual-licensed Apache-2.0 OR MIT at the user's choice — commercial use allowed.
Not really. These are interactive drafting and review prompts that expect a lawyer's questions and checks.

A curated, contributor-written library of about 280 legal agent skills (contracts, GDPR, litigation, AI Act) in English, French, Italian and more.
Six French-language skills for accounting, tax, notary, audit and co-ownership paperwork, with reference data and test cases.
It is a German-language collection of plugins, skills and prompts for German legal practice, covering areas such as contract and AGB law, corporate, tax and information-freedom law. The author calls it an experiment and says it is not legal advice.
You do not need the whole collection. Pick one plugin and follow the INSTALLATION_EINFACH.md guide, or download a single workshop or mini prompt as markdown. The README also describes importing the marketplace file into ChatGPT workspaces or Cowork.
The files are markdown and do not run code, but the README warns about professional secrecy under German law and about transferring client data to US services. Check your own confidentiality obligations before uploading real matter documents.
Claude für deutsches Recht targets German law and is in German. Anthropic's Claude for Legal is a smaller, interview-driven suite for in-house and law-firm workflows, framed around US-style practice areas and connectors.
