Cloudflare Skills
cloudflare/skillsCloudflare's official 19-skill pack for building on Workers, Durable Objects, the Agents SDK, Cloudflare One and more, with an optional bundled MCP server.
The AI SDK repo's skills: one public ai-sdk skill for building with the SDK plus about a dozen maintainer-only skills for the monorepo.
The ai-sdk skill is sound and from the SDK's maintainers, but most of the repo's skills are internal tooling you should not install for ordinary use.
The vercel/ai repository holds the AI SDK for TypeScript, and its skills/ folder contains 13 skills. The one meant for users is the ai-sdk skill (use-ai-sdk, about 6 KB). It tells the agent not to write AI SDK code from memory, because APIs and model IDs change, and to read the documentation and source that the ai package ships inside node_modules/ai/docs and node_modules/ai/src, with provider and framework packages bundling their own docs. It covers starting with the AI Gateway (an API key in AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY or OIDC on Vercel), fetching the live model list with curl before choosing a model ID, using ToolLoopAgent rather than hand-rolled tool loops, local-only DevTools, comparing the installed version with npm view ai version, and running the type checker after changes. A migrate-ai-sdk-v6-to-v7 skill is also present. Most of the rest, such as add-provider-package, update-provider-models, adr-skill and edit-package-readme, are for contributors working in the repo itself, and 11 of the 13 are flagged internal in their frontmatter. The README in the dossier is only a pointer to packages/ai/README.md.
The public skill is a 6 KB SKILL.md with no references; the repo's other 12 skills are mostly short, with a few scripts in adr-skill and list-npm-package-content and two eval files in the repo.
Counted from the repository file tree. How we score depth.
The repo's skills directory holds maintainer workflows for the Vercel AI SDK plus a user-facing use-ai-sdk skill. Executables are three small local Node scripts for ADR files and a shell script that builds and lists an npm tarball; the only network use is fetching public docs, the AI Gateway model list and a version string. Most of the repository was not available for review.
The repository (9606 files) on Oct 29, 2026. Not a full review: 9465 of 9606 files were not downloaded (large repository; we reviewed the skill folders); it contains compiled binaries or archives we cannot read; it relies on code outside the repository: Two island-rescue-skill.zip example archives; Most of the repository (about 9,400 readable source, config and example files are not in the local copy), including .claude/settings.json and .agents/skills referenced in the inventory; npm packages ai, @ai-sdk/* and the pnpm/rg/jq tools that the skills invoke.
NVIDIA SkillSpector static scan: 6 pattern hits (Excessive Agency 4, Privilege Escalation 1, MCP Rug Pull 1). The six hits are documentation: '.npmrc' in a list of files npm always excludes, 'without asking' in an ADR philosophy sentence, and an 'npx skills add vercel/ai' install line in the README template.
A review, not a certification. Skills change after we check them — read the files before installing.
GitHub reports NOASSERTION and no LICENSE file is in our copy of the skills; check the repository before reuse.
Not really. A guidance skill for interactive coding; it has no loop or verification structure beyond running the type checker.
Cloudflare's official 19-skill pack for building on Workers, Durable Objects, the Agents SDK, Cloudflare One and more, with an optional bundled MCP server.
Mastra's official skills: a framework guide that routes to current docs and ten references, and a Factory supervisor skill for the mastra api CLI.
Vercel's official 9-skill pack: React and Next.js performance rules, composition patterns, UI and writing review, React Native, deploy and cost audit.
Skills stored in the vercel/ai repo. The main one, ai-sdk, helps an agent build with the AI SDK by pointing it at version-matched docs bundled in node_modules instead of its memory. The others mostly support people who work on the SDK itself.
Use the skills CLI (npx skills add vercel/ai) and choose the ai-sdk skill, or copy the skills/use-ai-sdk folder into your agent's skills directory. The project needs the ai package installed for the docs to be available locally.
The SDK's APIs and model IDs change often, so the skill requires checking the docs and source for the installed version, and fetching the current model list, before writing code.
They target different frameworks. This one is for the TypeScript AI SDK (generateText, streamText, useChat); Cloudflare's agents-sdk skill is for building agents on the Cloudflare Agents SDK and Workers.
