Builds distinctive scroll-driven landing pages: eight mutually exclusive page grammars, a required bespoke signature move, and a fingerprint gate against repeats.
An unusually opinionated and well-specified design skill with real enforcement mechanisms (the fingerprint gate, the grammar rules) rather than vague taste guidance; no API key is required for the core workflow.
scroll-craft is built around a stated problem: most AI-built scroll sites converge on the same template (a flythrough with text dropped on top, a 01/06 counter, a 'scroll to explore' nudge). Its answer is a set of hard constraints rather than general taste advice. Eight page grammars (filmic one-shot, chaptered editorial, live surface, continuous world, typographic poster, gallery, split stage, rhythmic cutlist) are mutually exclusive, so a build can't quietly blend two. Every build must invent one genuinely bespoke interaction (a recolored spotlight does not count), and a fingerprint gate requires a new build to differ from every previous one on at least 4 of 6 dimensions (grammar, nav, hero, act shape, close, signature move) before it's accepted.
The workflow produces an interview brief, a feeling curve with one deliberately engineered emotional peak (applying the peak-end rule literally: a page with three peaks has none), a scroll score, generated or supplied imagery, one real semantic HTML page built on a token-driven CSS engine (six color tokens, two fonts, never edited per project), and a strip of screenshots proving the page holds up at every scroll position, including reduced-motion and mobile states. It can use your own photos and footage with no key and no spend, or generate photoreal assets through kie.ai with an optional KIE_AI_API_KEY. The skill has 8 scripts and a references folder documenting ten approved worked examples. It is explicitly built and tested on Windows; macOS paths exist in the scripts but are unverified by the author.
One skill at about 25 KB with 13 references, 8 scripts and a template, documenting a worked-example collection of ten approved production sites; no automated test suite.

This skill asks for more access than most, or sends data to another service. That is usually a design choice rather than bad intent, but you should know before you install it.
Bash, which pre-approves unrestricted shell commands.plugins/nateherk-design/skills/scroll-craft/SKILL.md:16A scroll-driven landing-page builder that runs local Node/bash scripts (static server bound to 127.0.0.1 by default, screenshot harness, ffmpeg encoder) and has Bash pre-approved without restriction. Optional asset generation sends prompts, and any local reference images you pass, to kie.ai using your KIE_AI_API_KEY; building from your own assets needs no key. Verification needs playwright-core, ffmpeg and Chrome installed separately.
npm i playwright-core (unpinned) in the build project for the verification pass.plugins/nateherk-design/skills/scroll-craft/SKILL.md:376The repository (34 files) on Oct 29, 2026. Not a full review: it relies on code outside the repository: npm package playwright-core (installed by `npm i playwright-core` in the build project); ffmpeg / ffprobe binaries on the user's machine; Installed Chrome/Edge browser driven by shoot.mjs.
NVIDIA SkillSpector static scan: 13 pattern hits (Privilege Escalation 6, Anti-Refusal 2, Agent Snooping 2, Data Exfiltration 2, Excessive Agency 1). The credential hits are .env.example and code that reads the optional KIE_AI_API_KEY; the anti-refusal hits are ordinary prose ('Do not judge an alpha image', 'do not refuse a justified reroll'); the external-transmission hit is the documented kie.ai API endpoint.

Not really. It is a creative, interview-driven design process that explicitly includes an interview step and client/creative-direction decisions, not an unattended pipeline.

One UI-polish skill: concentric radii, optical alignment, layered shadows, interruptible animations, icons and typography.
A design skill with 24 commands (polish, bolder, critique, audit, harden and more), a 62-rule deterministic slop detector and an optional edit hook.
It is an agent skill for building premium, scroll-driven landing pages with a strict design discipline: eight mutually exclusive page grammars, a required bespoke signature interaction, and a fingerprint gate that forces each new build to differ meaningfully from the last.
Use it as a Claude Code plugin (plugins/nateherk-design) for convenient installation, or copy the skill folder into your agent's skills directory for use with Codex or another coding agent that can edit files, run commands and inspect a browser.
No. Building from your own photos and footage needs no key and no spend. A KIE_AI_API_KEY is only needed if you want assets generated rather than supplied.
The README states the scripts have only ever been run on Windows, though they look for ffmpeg and Chrome in macOS and Linux locations too; macOS users should expect to troubleshoot the build tooling themselves.
